Djing from 1984-present…Todd Perrine has been a DJ- Producer- Remixer of a variety of genres for over 35 years. He is a resident of Old School Fridays (Wesley’s, Toledo), a 16 year running weekly that covers the spectrum of funk, soul, reggae, old school hip hop, disco and booty music. Toledo’s longest running themed night in it’s History. Also a resident here is longtime tag partner DJ Rob Sample and together they are one of Toledo’s top djing duos as “THE GET DOWN BROTHERS” – As an Original member of Bang Tech 12 from 96′, Perrine is known for playing deep and chuggy house, and just about every other genre he gets his hands on.
Perrine has played alongside some of the world’s best DJs & Artists & more -also has played some of the world’s best conferences and festivals such as WMC/DEMF/Movement/Charavari/SCP Backpack Music Festival/Tec-Troit and countries Canada, France, Germany and old Super clubs such as Soma(CO), Motor Lounge(MI)Velvet Room (Windsor)-Todd’s most notable performance was sharing the stage as the dj for Coolio, Young MC, & Naughty By Nature as well as opening sets for djs Richie Hawtin, Kevin Saunderson, Mark Farina, & Sugarhill Gang and a whole lot more. His music productions and remixes have been released on Moehouse Records, Red Robot, Soiree Records Int and Breakbeat Paradise, and RF Music… with releases as MATTIMOE | PERRINE… (with Nathan Mattimoe)(PH Concept with Laura Indorf) and as his moniker the SANDMAN..
