Siphiwe Mtarini, known in the music world as Tronix Deep. Born in Giyani, Limpopo Province. He has spent his life deeply committed to music, not only as a form of expression but as a legacy he aims to build in the South African music industry.
His journey began with formal studies at the Soul Candi Institute of Music in 2008, where he refined his DJing and music production skills. This experience gave him a foundation that shaped his sound. Later, he studied Radio Production at Boston Media House, gaining industry insights that further fueled his artistic vision.
In collaboration with Denny Dugg, his track “Stupid Love” became a major breakthrough. It resonated widely across South Africa, eventually featuring as the leading single on House Afrika Sessions 5, which was nominated for Best Album Compilation at the 2015 Metro FM Music Awards.
“I am honored to have reached many milestones, from featuring on DJ Black Coffee’s A Nomads Journey, released through MixMag, charting on Oskido’s TOP5. In addition, my feature on Sorry We’re Broken, an exclusive Kaya FM mixtape mixed by Fistaz Mixwell, marks a significant chapter in my career” – TRONIX DEEP
Driven by a desire to make real change in the industry, he is part of the DJs Network initiative, a platform focused on fair licensing and compensation. Together, they’re working to ensure the rights of music creators are respected while highlighting the essential role DJs play in promoting music.
As he creates, Tronix Deep hopes to inspire others to push their creativity beyond boundaries, fostering an environment that respects and supports all artists.
“To my fans and everyone who’s been part of this journey—thank you. Let’s continue to shape a brighter future for DJs and music creators worldwide.” – TRONIX DEEP
