Raised in Brooklyn Ny. Started Djing in 1978 when he did a geographic to Saint Albans Queens Ny. There is where he began his craft with a dear friend Lawrence Clarke. They became interested in Sound Reinforcement after seeing some of the top Dj’s in Queens Ny with monster sound systems. The Disco Twins, Chiper Sounds, and the Infinity Machine, to name a few.
While learning what equipment by, as well as developing their Turntable skills, they began to purchase different genres of music and began to master their skills in Sound Reinforcement and becoming Turntablists. Years later, partner Lawrence Clarke, got married and moved to Georgia, and James Bushwick relocated back to Brooklyn Ny. There is where his Introduction to the Underground House Music Scene began. He met some of the biggest Djs in House Music and went to some of the top Clubs in New York that catered to the Underground House Music Audiences.
He has been part of that genre since 1995. Bushwick recently built a pre production studio in his residence and has been working with software programs, Apple Logic Pro X and Studio One, to create is own Music to play at gigs. He teamed up with partner Dj Carllynn back in 2012, and they have been bringing House Music to faithful House Heads throughout New York City.
