Born and raised in Katlehong, east of Johannesburg in Gauteng, Marvelous K has steadily built a name for himself as a respected DJ and producer with a deep love for music and an even deeper connection to his roots. Since he first touched the decks in February 2009, Marvelous K has been on a mission to bring people together through sound, blending soulful rhythms, Afro-house beats and local township grooves into an unforgettable experience.
What began as a humble passion project quickly evolved into a calling. Influenced by the vibrant energy of his community and inspired by the pioneers of House and Dance music in South Africa and beyond borders, DJ Marvelous K developed a signature sound that bridges underground authenticity with mainstream appeal. His sets are known for their smooth transitions, emotive energy and a seamless ability to read and move a crowd.
As a self-taught producer, Marvelous K brings a unique ear for melody and rhythm to his studio work.
